IMPORTANT NOTICE
Temporarily Closed
Narrabri Shire would like to inform that, regrettably, we have had to close the Pilliga Bore Baths campgrounds temporarily. Please note the Bore Bath is still open for day visitors.
The decision to close is due to concerns related to reports of public health and environmental issues in the area. We take these matters very seriously, and your safety and protecting the beautiful Pilliga environment are our top priorities. Rest assured, we are working closely with the relevant authorities to address these concerns and take any necessary actions. We understand how much the Pilliga Bore Baths mean to our community, and we are committed to resolving these issues as quickly as possible to reopen the facility.
We appreciate your understanding and support during this time. We will keep you updated on any developments and, once again, apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Soak away those aches and pains in the 37-degree mineral-rich water of the Pilliga Artesian Bore Bath. It has become a popular recreational spot for swimming and camping, with the therapeutic value of the water having long been recognised by locals and visitors who make regular pilgrimages to the Bath. Open 24hrs a day, relax in the bath and enjoy the sunsets and serenity that Pilliga is known for.
