Narrabri’s CBD is set to dazzle on Friday, 14th March 2025 from 6.00pm for Council’s highly anticipated and much-loved annual CBD street party, NarraBRIGHT!
This year we dare to DREAM.
In its fifth year, Narrabri’s main street will be bursting with colour, music, entertainment, late night shopping, food, captivating art installations, market stalls and art workshops, to celebrate and shine a light on our vibrant community, CBD and businesses.
NarraBRIGHT is a FREE community event and is a feature of Council’s annual CREATE festival.

Light Projections
Following a mesmerising display in 2025, we’re excited for the return of breathtaking light projections across some of Maitland Streets most beautiful facades by renowned Australian company, Illuminart that will keep audiences in awe.
Installation: Cortex
A geometric tangle of towering arches, Cortex is a large-scale inflatable structure inspired by Australia’s Mangrove Forests. Wander under the luminous roots, while the hypnotic soundscape swoons with sonic humidity, then crackles and pops with life.
Neon Installations
Artist: Carla O’Brien
Carla O’Brien’s art is interactive, joyful, imaginative and will take you on a colourful journey in the skies while remaining securely earth-bound.
Sensory Gardens – Dr. Bliss Cavanagh
Created by Dr Bliss Cavanagh, the sensory garden is an immersive and magical multisensory experience for people of all ages and abilities. Bliss is a sensory-based artist, and expert in the design of sensory spaces backed by evidence-based research. Bliss creates large-scale, immersive multisensory installations that offer therapeutic benefits and support wellbeing.
Dream Tower – Community Art Installation
Step into a luminous realm where aspirations take shape and shine.
The Dream Tower Installation invites our community to weave their dreams into the night sky. These glowing towers stand as beacons of hope and creativity, capturing the whispered wishes and bold visions of those who dare to dream.
With every word etched, each tower transforms into a radiant mosaic of collective imagination—a living, breathing masterpiece crafted by us all.

Dream Catcher Workshop
Help us create a mega dream catcher at NarraBRIGHT 2025. Jules Jarner will lead this workshop during Narrabright 2025.
Neon Lantern Workshop
Make your own luminous paper lantern with a take home Neon LED light!
Using 100% post-consumer recycled paper, and your imagination, each lantern is unique. The simple design is easy to make for adults and accompanied children. Local artist, Chloe Tough will lead this workshop.
The Emerald Escape – by NDCAS
Hosted by NDCAS, Unwind in a magical dreamscape inspired by The Wizard of Oz. Relax, chill, and enjoy a special screening of this timeless classic. Follow the yellow brick road to an unforgettable experience!
Performers
Let’s get the party started and enjoy performance from amazing local artists including Lloyd Bennett, Amarni Grace, Sam Snape, Wait for Green and back by popular demand, PHONIC. Keep an eye (and ear) out for some other magical surprises, you’d thought only ever possible in your dreams.
Roaming Performers
LED Peacock roaming performance
As the sun sets at Narrabright 20245 our LED peacock will spread her wings and roam Maitland Street until 10.00pm, be sure stop for a photo and share with us using #Narrabright2025

Reflect upon you dreams with the mirror people, roaming throughout Maitland Street until sunset.
