Spring Picnic with Wildflowers at Sculptures in the Scrub

Spring is here, and the wildflowers are in full bloom!

Let’s take advantage of the short 2-3 week window we have to experience the beauty of the Sculptures in the Scrub while the flowers are at their peak.

Bring your picnic gear, food to share, drinks, maybe some art or painting if you\’d like to do any there, and walking shoes for those who want to do the Sculptures in the Scrub walk.

For those who\’d like to stay the night, you can camp the night before and/or after at the campsite there, or if you would like proper accommodation, organisers highly recommend Barkala Farmstay. There is a large house that sleeps 14-people, which could be fun for a big group, and they have a German restaurant on site serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Everyone is welcome, including families, friends, and kids. It’s a great opportunity to meet up with new and old friends.

How to get there:
Sculptures in the Scrub Picnic Area and Campground is located around a 2.5 hour drive from Dubbo. Carpooling is encouraged! Let organisers know if you need a ride or can offer one.
