Australia Day Celebrations

Join in on the Australia Day celebrations in the Narrabri Region.

Australia Day is the day we come together as a nation to celebrate what is great about Australia and being Australian.

Council would like to invite all to join the celebrations in Boggabri, Narrabri and Wee Waa and enjoy FREE entry to all Narrabri Shire pools on January 26th, from 12pm – 6pm. (To view the official flyer Click Here)

There will be a DJ at the Narrabri Aquatic Centre from 2pm – 5pm.

Event locations are as follows:
Narrabri

  • The Crossing Theatre Auditorium, Tibbereena Street Narrabri
  • Doors open at 11:30am
  • Formal Awards Ceremony starts at 12 noon

    Boggabri

  • Boggabri HACC Building, Cnr Merton and Brent Streets, Boggabri
  • Breakfast from 7:30am
  • Ceremony starts 8:30am
  • Tractor Museum Open

    Wee Waa

  • The Namoi Echo Museum, Rose Street Wee Waa
  • Ceremony starts 4pm
  • Sausage sizzle to follow
  • Vintage car display and museum open
