Apron Project Road Show

21 February @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Since February 2015 The Apron Project has been raising funds for women and children escaping domestic and family violence. Over 200 artists from around the world have contributed more than 400 stitched, painted and beaded aprons, raising more than $100,000.00.

This year funds raised from The Apron Project and the International Women’s Day High Tea will be directed to the Rotary D9685 Safe Hands Bursaries to underpin children impacted by domestic and family violence and Strong Arms Scholarships designed to support adult survivors pursuing TAFE or University qualifications. The Aprons will be available for online auction from February 16.

This travelling exhibition will be on display for the weekend of the 20th Feb, with a BBQ being hosted on the Saturday.

At the Wee Waa Exhibition, door donations and raffle will directly go to the NDCAS (Narrabri District Community Aid Service).
