A Weekend With a Brush

Hosted by local Narrabri Artist, Deb Michell-Smith, this weekend is perfect for those at the beginning of their artistic journey, or those who just want to immerse themselves in creativity.

Set amongst the green pastures and rolling hills of “Castletop” – this scenic, rural landscape is set to inspire all mediums and abilities.

Led by acclaimed tutors Barry and Lucy McCann of McCann Fine Art (Armidale), the weekend includes:

• Daily demonstrations & hands-on tutoring in the large, open shearing shed
• Choice of painting en plein air or indoors with still life setups
• Evening critique over cheese + wine
• Welcoming to all mediums and abilities – watercolour, acrylic, oil

Cost is $350, which includes:

• 2 full days of tutoring and painting

• All meals (Friday dinner to Sunday lunch)

• Shared accommodation (see below)

• Evening cheese, drinks + critiques
