Our one day Workshop designed to get you familiar with your Camera. This Workshop is designed for the novice to intermediate user, to help you understand the workings of your camera and some of the general principals in photography to get the most out of your kit. Designed to eliminate motion blur and over / under exposed images so you can effectively capture the image you are trying to.

The Workshop explores the different styles of photography, various settings of your SLR Camera and how to use ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed to produce the image you are aiming for. You will also learn a number of composition rules, basic lighting and shooting modes.

The Workshop runs for 6 hours and includes practical exercises with constructive feedback and an opportunity to meet other like minded people with a passion for photography, and the chance to ‘pick the brain’ of a professional photographer in a relaxed environment.

We cover topics such as:

• Explanation of the working parts of your SLR camera
• The different modes of your camera
• Photography styles
• Lighting
• Using ISO / Aperture/ Shutter Speed
• Various rules of composition
