Sculpture and Architecture – The Crossing Theatre

Sculpture and Architecture presented by David Worthington
Sculptural Architecture or Architectural Sculpture? That is the question posed by renowned British sculptor David Worthington, who during the course of his career has worked with a plethora of developers, architects, engineers, civic bodies, builders and contractors.
David will be addressing the first ArtsNational arts talk with his talk ‘Sculpture and Architecture’, kicking off a new season at The Crossing Theatre on March 4, 2024.Graduating from Oxford University in 1984 with a degree in Philosophy and Theology, and later studying fine art in London, Barcelona and New York, David is a Fellow of The Royal Society of Sculptors.

Lectures take place in Cinema 1, The Crossing Theatre. Arrival and greet from 6.30pm ready for a 7pm start. Lecture time is approximately 1 hour. Join us and our lecturer afterwards for drinks and canapés in the Crossing Theatre café, all included in your ticket price.
If you wish to have a drink prior to the lecture, hot and cold beverages can be purchased from the kiosk and taken into the theatre.
Members who join by the first lecture of the year (4 March) will be given a complimentary visitors ticket to bring a friend to any lecture of their choice.
