Historical Walks
Self guided walks have been developed for Narrabri, Wee Waa and Boggabri to guide visitors through the significant sites and monuments.
Collect a brochure from the Visitor Information Centre to guide you through the highlights of the town.
If you are limited for time, discover the town creek walk which meanders along Narrabri Creek through an area known as the sporting mile, due to its sporting wall of fame, three well-kept ovals and the Aquatic Centre. It then loops around the mains shopping district, where you can view some of the wonderful old architectural buildings dating back to the early 1800's. Along the way keep an eye out for sites of particular historical value, marked by bronze plaques affixed to buildings.
