Here\, René Lalique had his own pavilion of glass and jewellery\, and Siegfried Bing recreated his Paris gallery\, the Maison de l’Art Nouveau. The style was characterised by sinuous lines and whiplash curves\, and the style came to define the Belle Époque era. \nVivienne Lawes is an art historian\, art market analyst and curator/writer who combines a hands-on career in the art business with academic research and teaching in Higher Education. DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the CREATE festival\, Rotary will be showing the acclaimed Flicker Fest film “Giants”. Come along to a “Meet the Producer” session with Narrabri local Steve Rees\, the co-producer of the movie. \n\n\nIntermittently filmed on the same Narrabri farm over a period of 18 months\, Giants plays out amongst the changing landscape of the worst drought in Australia’s history.\n\n\nSteve will take us through the process of creating and producing this 15 minute short film which was awarded Best Australian Short Film in 2022. \n\n\nThe bar will be open and light refreshments served.
