We’re excited to announce that the Rural Women’s Gathering 2026 is heading to Narrabri!
Held in one location annually, get ready to join women from across regional, rural and remote NSW for a day of inspiration, learning and connection.
Hear from women ‘Breaking New Ground’ and shaping the future of their communities through business, fashion, art, agriculture, wellbeing and more.
Whether you are looking to grow a business, prioritise wellbeing, learning something or meet like-minded women, this day is for you.
This event is free to attend with registrations open in early September, and only 300 spaces available.
There is an incredible line-up of speakers, with creative workshops on offer with your registration.
To make the weekend even more special, there are plenty of sideline events happening across the shire that showcase the community and offerings that makes up this wonderful region.

RWG Welcome Event
Friday, 16 October | 5.00pm – 7.00pm The Exchange, Narrabri
The official Welcome Event marks the opening of the NSW Rural Women’s Gathering 2026. Delegates from across NSW will gather to connect, network and celebrate regional communities through local food, music, market stalls and formal welcome proceedings. Tickets are $25.50
The Narrabri Portrait Prize – Artist in conversation
Friday, 16 October | 6.30pm – 8.30pm Tourist Hotel, Narrabri
This intimate evening brings together artists and art lovers for an exclusive evening with Artists of the inaugural 2026 Narrabri Portrait Prize, along with special guests, canapes and networking.
TRIVIA NIGHT
Friday, 16 October | 6pm for a 6.30pm start Beer Garden, Tourist Hotel
Hosted by the Rotaract Club of Narrabri, the club’s monthly trivia is always an evening of laughs, as teams compete over 7 rounds of hard-hitting questions (sometimes funny ones). Entry is $10 per person.

Join the Narrabri Run Club’s Special RWG2026 Run Club as you tour the Narrabri township over 5km. All levels of abilities welcome; the club is led by a great group of local women.

RWG Line Dancing party
Saturday, 17 October | 6.30pm -9.00pm Narrabri Bowling Club
Featuring guided line dancing instruction and a welcoming atmosphere, this event encourages connection, wellbeing and participation regardless of age or experience. Tickets are $20.50.

Hosted by the Dolly Parton Narrabri Fundraising Committee, this unforgettable evening supports the Narrabri Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
A magical night under the harvest moon of community, connection and helping put books into the hands of local children.

Georgie, the owner and founder of Quest Pilates Studio, will be guiding you through a session of Pilates & Wellness in her beautiful new Wee Waa Studio!
Take some time to slow down, move and reset. We will begin with gentle stretches and guided breathing to connect to our bodies and settle in. Georgie will then guide us through a Reformer Pilates class, finishing with some more stretches and breaths to wind down after the class.
