Lets celebrate together
Narrabri’s CBD will come to life on Friday, 17th March 2023 from 6.00pm for Council’s annual CBD street party, Narra-BRIGHT.
Narra-BRIGHT is a street party, celebrating the vibrant community, CBD and businesses of Narrabri.
In its third year, Narrabri’s main street will fill with light, colour, music, entertainment, kid’s activities, late night shopping, food trucks, art installations and workshops during this years’ street festival
Building on previous years, this year’s event will also feature building projection art from renowned Australian projection company, Illuminart, sensory garden and 3D art trail.

Illuminart Projection Installation
As the sun goes down, two of Maitland Streets buildings will come to life through the magic of projection mapping, highlighting their architectural features for one night only, during Narrabright

Illuminart Australia are a leading arts and technology company who design and develop projection and digital media for special events, public art and tourism.
Specialising in the creative content production and design for telling unique stories in light, using the magic of projection mapping.
Working across the disciplines of visual arts, architecture, and events, illuminart are Australia’s most experienced projection art directors.
The Sensory Garden
Dr. Bliss Cavanagh
Created by Dr. Bliss Cavanagh, the sensory garden is an immersive and magical multisensory experience for people of all ages and abilities. Bliss is a sensory-based artist, and expert in the design of sensory spaces backed by evidence-based research. Bliss creates large-scale, immersive multisensory installations that offer therapeutic benefits and support wellbeing.
‘Taking Flight’ – Neon Installations
Carla O’Brien – Neon Artist, Melbourne AUS
Carla O’Brien’s career as a visual artist began in 2009. Her primary medium is LED Neon Flex, a revolutionary replacement of traditional Glass Neon.
She creates awe-inspiring neon art installations now seen at festivals and events around Australia, and Internationally. Carla O’Brien’s art is interactive, joyful, imaginative and will take you on a colourful journey in the skies while remaining securely earth-bound.
3D Art Trail
Zest Events International
Zest Events International will return to Narrabright in 2023.
Their team of professional artists will create a trail of mend-bending 3D illusions over 3 big days in key locations through Maitland Street, Narrabri.
Watch the Artists bring the streets to life from Wednesday 15 – Friday 17, March, 2023 from 9.00am each day.

3D Art Trail Artist Biographies
Zac Craig aka @fiestaconcarne
Zac is an artist with many strings to his bow, he creates 3d chalk art, street paintings and drawings, he paints, sculpts, produces lino prints, teaches and is also an industrial designer. His friendly nature and wicked sense of humour combined with his patience and inspiring teaching methods are a winning combination for engaging audiences of all ages. Last year he created this great 3D block stack illusion … what will he do this year?

Rudy Kistler (Dorrigo, NSW)
Originally from Chicago USA, Rudy‘s art has taken him through America, Japan and now Australia. Rudy brings his life experiences to his artwork; his pavement art is wonderfully interactive and live art performances are engaging, whether he be creating complex 3D illusions, murals, or running workshops for budding young artists.
Leo Uribe aka @leour.illustrations
Leonardo Uribe is a Colombian-born painter, sculptor, graphic designer and illustrator. He studied Fine Arts at the Universidad Industrial de Santander and has been working as a professional artist for more than 15 years. Leo has been living in Australia since 2009, he focuses his passion for art into showcasing 3D pavement art and murals

Duncan DJs
Local Brothers, James and Ben Duncan will take the main stage for a family friendly DJ set at Narrabright 2023. Enjoy late night shopping, food and all the activities on offer at Narrabright 2023, or just soak the atmosphere and music from the seating areas.
Barra-gi Stage – Local Solo Artist Showcase
Narrabri Shire is home to many wonderful musicians, be sure to enjoy performance from various local artists at the Barra-gi stage from 6.00pm. Barra-gi means to fly in Gamilaraay language.
Hannah Indigo
Newcastle NSW based performer, Hannah Indigo is a professional hula hoop artist. Featured at major festivals including Dark Mofo, Vivid Sydney and Splendour in the Grass, Hannah’s roaming performance during Narrabright 2023, will put you into a spin!
LED Aliens
As the sun sets at Narrabright 2023, keep watch for aliens! These friendly, colourful creatures will be roaming Maitland Street until 10.00pm, be sure stop for a photo and share with us using #Narrabright2023
Freddy Mercury and Cyndi Lauper Stilt Walkers.
Is this the real life? Is this a fantasy? At the end of the day, boys and girls just want to have fun, and fun you will have as musical stilt walkers roam throughout Maitland Street from 7.00 to 9.00pm.
Kids’ Activities
Solasta Kids Zone
Our littlest Narrabright’s will be thoroughly entertained by local children’s drama and arts teacher, Sarah Gleeson, owner of Solasta Performing Arts. For children aged from 0 – 4, the Solasta kids activity zone is a place for play, expression and fun for the little ones!
Narrabright Gaming Zone
Experience VR gaming through the latest in headset technology, giant Jenga and get your glow on at the Glow Stick station, at the Narrabright gaming zone.
Facepainting – Grace Mor and Heidi Gleeson
Local face paint artists, Grace Mor and Heidi Gleeson will be painting up a storm in the kids zone at Narrabright 2023 from 6.00 – 9.00pm
Chalk it Up! – 3D Chalk Art Workshop
ANZ Bank Rotunda
Children of all ages are encouraged join in on the art and express themselves in supervised chalk
Activities by Zest Events International. The artwork will grow as more people join in. The finished work will show what we can achieve together!
Neon Lantern Workshop
Make your own luminous paper lantern with a take home Neon LED light at Narrabright 2023.
Using 100% post-consumer recycled paper, and your imagination, each lantern is unique. The simple design is easy to make for adults and accompanied children.
Local artist, Chloe Tough will lead this workshop during Narrabright 2023.
Retail and Food Therapy
Make the most of Narrabright by enjoying some retail therapy at selected local boutiques and enjoy a wide range of food options from local community groups, food vendors, local cafes, restaurants, hotels and clubs!
