First sparked by Lion Geoff Eather and brought to life with the support of the Boggabri Lions Club\, the event has grown into a relaxed\, welcoming weekend that showcases the very best of country hospitality. The celebration is held annually on the last weekend of April. \nAcross the weekend\, visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities including a large communal campfire\, camp oven cooking\, shearing demonstrations\, district and attraction tours\, bush poetry\, craft stalls\, whip cracking displays\, antique machinery\, live bush bands and nightly entertainment. Above all\, it’s a chance to connect with the local community and fellow travellers.
